Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Davis have the sympathy of the entire community in the death of their daughter, Lois, which occurred at their home on Tuesday forenoon. The girl was about seven years of age and had been in poor health for several months. Everything possible was done to stay the disease, but to no avail. Lois was born in this city and was greatly beloved by all who knew her. Funeral services were held from the home on Thursday afternoon, Rev. Crook of the Baptist church officiating. Burial was at the Shrontz cemetery.
Note: The article says Shrontz cemetery but the tombstone is in Momence cemetery.
