W. B. Goldie, Plumber, Dies
Deceased Was Member of Many Masonic Bodies
William B. Goldie, owner of the William B. Goldie & Son plumbing establishment and well known in Masonic circles of this city, died last night at his home, 540 Roberts Avenue. Born in England, he came to this city 56 years ago and entered the plumbing business. He was a member of Syracuse Lodge, 501, F. and A. M.; Central City Lodge, 70, Central City Commandery of Knights Templar, 25, Central City Consistory, 32d Degree Masons, and Zyara Shrine of Utica. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Minnie F. Goldie; two daughters, Mrs. E. F. Klassie and Mrs. W. W. Dodd; a son, William B. Goldie, Jr.; a brother, George W. Goldie; three sisters, Mrs. William Wildridge of Toronto, Can., Mrs. William Walsh of London, Ont., and Mrs. H. B. Andrews of Syracuse, and six grandchildren. Funeral services will take place at the family home, 540 Roberts Avenue, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Dr. Charles F. Banning, pastor of the Delaware Baptist Church, of which Mr. Goldie was a member, will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
