Doris Jean Adams, 74, Henderson, died Wednesday, December 26th 2012, at Methodist Hospital.

She was born in Lamar, Indiana, on December 23rd 1938. She was a member of Deer Creek Baptist Church and she was a retired CMA from Redbanks, where she worked for more than 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Adams; her father, Vernie Francis Dauby; one daughter, June Adams; and one brother, Captain Donald Ray Rhodes.

Survivors include her mother, Freida Dauby Seabolt of Sun City, Arizona; four children, Deanna Denton and her husband, the Reverend Wayne, of Gibson City, Illiois, Marilyn Woodard and her husband, Donald, of Robards, Susan Jordan of Henderson, and Walter Kevin Adams and his wife, Kaye, of Robards; 13 grandchildren, Alicia Denton Bunner, Danae Denton Burky, Shae Denton Epps, Damon Woodard, Chad Woodard, Amanda Woodard, Heather Jordan Rolley, Angela Jordan, Nathan Jordan, Andrew Adams, Alex Gregory, Krista Adams, and Kevin Adams; 30 great-grandchildren; one niece; and two nephews.

Pallbearers were Damon Woodard, Chad Woodard, Nathan Jordan, Walter Kevin Adams, Andrew Adams, and Alex Gregory.
