Lois Sullivan Smith, 90, of Mendenhall passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, February 2, 2013, at Coat Baptist Church in Magee with burial in Sharon Presbyterian Cemetery in Magee.
Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, February 1, 2013, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Magee, which was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her children, James Michael (Tammy) Smith and Deloris (Lowery) Canoy, all of Florence, and Dianne (Milton) Koon of Brandon; grandchildren, Donna Pendergrass, Jennifer Case, Jay Smith, Lance Canoy, Clint Burke, Jared Smith, Hunter Smith, and Brittany Smith; great-grandchildren, Drew, Emily and Cole (Bug) Pendergrass, Anna and Allie Ferguson, Ava Case, Tripp and Jackson Smith, Skylar and Jadyn Miles, Mason Smith, Preslee Johnson; and a sister, Verle Plotkin, Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey Sullivan and Elvie Sullivan Sullivan; her husband, James Ernest Smith, and her brother-in Law, Voyd Smith.
Pallbearers were Jay Smith, Lance Canoy, Clint Burke, Jared Smith, Hunter Smith, and Drew Pendergrass. Honorary pallbearers were her great-grandchildren.
