Upon the breakup of that marriage, her children Susie, Smith and Jenness took the surname Atkins at the request of her father, General Atkins. The 1910 Census lists her children by her first marriage, and their surname is listed as Atkins.
Rackley was her married surname from her second marriage. She married John Rackley before 1910. She had two children by her second marriage, Margaret and David. By the time of the 1920 Census she is a widow.
