HEART ATTACK COSTS LIFE OF WICHITA MAN
Arrangements for the funeral of John Slates, 81, 2104 East Central, who died suddenly of a heart attack Monday morning while walking near his home, had not been made last night. He was a carpenter and came here 41 years ago from El Dorado. He was a member of the Grace Presbyterian church.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Anna G. Nickels, 2104 East Central, Mrs. May Cox, Wichita, and Mrs. Bertha Eberharde, Freeport, Long Island, N. Y., two sons, George and Harry, Wichita, a sister, two brothers, eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Gill mortuary is in charge.
