Dennis Newton Brown, 88, of Crossville, passed away April 11, 2001. Funeral services were conducted April 14 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with burial in Crossville City Cemetery. Bro. Phil Jenkins officiated.
Mr. Brown was born Aug. 7, 1912, in Crossville, the son of William and Vina Hedgecoth Brown.
Survivors include his son, James Ralph Brown of Grafton, OH; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Stella Hedgecoth Brown, Melvina Randolph Brown and Estelle Vann Brown; and a son, William Ernest Brown.
He was a bricklayer, and a member of the Church of Christ.
