Parents - Charles W. and Geraldine B. Averill.

Graduated from Spaulding High School then went on to earn her LPN. When she began her career in Hanover, N.H. she met her future husband, Peter Burton Crafts.

She moved & worked in the southern Vermont area and after her marriage to Peter they moved to Strarksboro

After her husband died she returned to the Barre area to care for her parents until their deaths


Her most recent employment was at the senior living community, The Gardens, in Williamstown, as the activities director and all-around event planner, a position she loved and a place where she formed many wonderful friendships.


Survived by her son, his wife and their children; her brother, his and their children; and her sisters and thier familes

She was predeceased by her husband; her parents; a sister, Mary Beth Averill; brother-in-law David Broad; and a nephew, Kevin Broad.
