Olive Isabel Hess, 94, passed away at 8:35 a.m., Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at Manor Care Kingston Court. She was the wife of Celopas Hess, who passed away on July 18, 1991. Mrs. Hess was born September 27, 1918, in Parkersburg, W.Va., and was the daughter of the late James and Amanda (Whitecotton) Keesor. She graduated from Parkersburg High School in 1937. Mrs. Hess is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Sides and her husband, Donald of Mount Wolf; her three grandchildren, Jennifer Yospa and her husband Lenny, Daniel Sides and his wife Amanda and Aaron Sides and his wife Thais; and her five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hess was preceded in death by her brother, Glendon Keesor. Her graveside service will be private. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Officiating at the service will be the Rt. Rev. Barry E. Yingling, CSSS, Chaplain from The Brunswick at Longstown. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Diehl Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Mount Wolf.
