Bobby O. Adams, 81, of La Grange, Texas, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2013 in La Grange.
Bobby was born in Groesbeck, Texas on September 17, 1931, the son of the late Elbert Dwane Adams and Lora Mae (Setliff) Green.
Bobby served in the U.S. Army Air Force. He worked as an Engineer for GTE and retired after 30+ years of service.
He is survived by his brother, John Adams and wife, Betty, of Nederland, Texas; sister, Ruby Stevens of Cypress, Texas; six nieces and nephews; seven grand nieces and eight grand nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joy Tidwell.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 121 S. College, La Grange, Texas.
Funeral Services will be held at the First Baptist Church immediately following visitation at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2013. Burial will follow at La Grange City Cemetery.
