Hazleton Plain Speaker; Tuesday, November 26, 1907:
Mrs. Hannah Fenstermacher, of Chilcotte, Mo., who came here a few weeks ago to attend the funeral of her sister, Mrs. Susan Cooper, passed away at the Cooper homestead, 243 East Broad street, from pneumonia, aged 74 years. After the funeral of her sister Mrs. Fenstermacher went to Nescopeck to visit relatives and returned last Wednesday, when pneumonia developed. A trained nurse was at once engaged for her and she was denied no comfort. Her condition, however, was serious on account of her extreme age, and her daughter, Mrs. Frank Scrubby, also of Missouri, was sent for and arrived here Saturday.

Mrs. Fenstermacher was the last survivor of the Cooper family. She was born at Stroudsburg but spent the greater part of her life in the West. Two children survive, her daughter and one son, C. A. Fenstermacher, of Walton, Ill.

The body was shipped to her home on the 9:19 Pennsy flyer this morning. Interment will be made at Wheeling, Mo.
