Mrs. J. M. Reed, 74, of Weaverville, former resident of Marshall, died Wednesday morning at 6:25 o'clock. She is survived by six children as follows: Mrs. Hardy Martin, of Asheville; Mrs. Nobbit, of Spartanburg, S.C.; Mrs. Ed Fore of Marshall; J.M. Reed, of Weaverville; Elbert Reed, of Rush Ky.; and Jack Reed of Asheville. The funeral service was held at Marshall Friday Morning at 11 o'clock with burial in Bryant cemetery.
