MARSHALL – Zura Lee Griffin Harding, 95, of Marshall, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 13, 2008.
A native and lifelong resident of Madison County, Mrs. Harding was born May 12, 1912. She was a member of Davis Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Zura was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac Mike and Addie Bell Massey Griffin, husband, Theodore Harding, son, Floyd Harding, sister, Elsie Hensley; brothers, Joe Griffin, Isaac Griffin, Jr. and Howard Griffin and foster son, Richard ‘Bill' Rice.
Surviving are her daughters, Johnnie Ledford, Annie Mae Roberts and her husband, L. D. and Polly Hensley, son, Kenneth Harding and wife, Edna, grandchildren, Larry and Dennis Ledford, Linda Howell and husband, Shon, Zyndall Roberts and wife, Lisa, Kenny Harding and wife, Cindy, Jason Harding and wife, Michelle and Gerald and Michael Hensley, nine great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Home with the Reverends Jay Griffin, Preston Church and Manson Warren officiating. Burial will be in the Bryan Cemetery on Fisher's Lane, Marshall.Madison Funeral Home Obit
