She was born to Oscar and Effie (Crocker) Holbrook on March 30, 1923 in St. Louis, MO.Margaret moved to Dolan Springs 3 years from Red Bluff, CA to be with her daughters, Nancy Estenson and Cathy Defer. For many years she owned her own restaurant and bar.
