Anthony Fromen of 267 Seneca parkway; president of Manufacturers Tool & Die company. Mr. Fromen died Sunday, September 9th, 1951 at Rochester General Hospital at the age of 71.
Anthony was born in Italy and came to Rochester as a young boy with his family. He was educated in both Italy and Rochester schools.
He was the first Italian student to graduate from Old Cathedral High School. He also studied at the old Rochester free academy, and completed a course in mechanical engineering at Mechanics Institute, now known as R.I.T or Rochester Institute of technology.
In 1919 Anthony started his operation in his company and remained working until his death.
