WASHINGTON - Harold E. Vincent, 65, Washington, passed away at 2:50 p.m. Jan. 26 at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center, Jasper.

He was born June 27, 1946, in Oakridge, Tenn., to Bradley and Ruby (Beaty) Vincent.

He was a graduate of Straughn High School in Straughn, Ind., and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He had been employed with Gless Brothers Quest Line.

He is survived by his wife, Gretna (Dougherty) Vincent, whom he married Jan. 13, 1979; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kristianna and Ken Walker of Terre Haute and Kassandra and Steve Whidden of LaBelle, Fla.; two sons, Kristopher Vincent of Indianapolis and Kenyon Vincent of Ferdinand; four brothers, Bill Vincent of Herndon, Va., Bob Vincent of New Palestine, David Vincent of New Castle and Weldon Vincent of Wilkinson; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Nellie Marie Vincent, Mary Jane Conley and Mildred Wilson.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Cornettsville United Methodist Church, with Revs. Bill Tolbott and Hollis Huber officiating. Burial will be in Cornettsville Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 p.m. until the hour of service Monday at the church. Arrangements are being made through Ed Lee Mortuary.
