Funeral Services For Kathryn "Kate" (Seeley) Allen Set Friday

Kathryn "Kate" (Seeley) Allen died Wednesday, Oct 31 in the Garfield County Memorial Hospital where she had been confined for the last four months.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon November 2, from the Richardson Funeral Home at 2:30 pm. The Rev Robert Lancaster of the Episcopal Church will officiate.

Kate Seeley was born near Pendleton, Oregon, the daughter of Charles H Seeley and Sara (White) Seeley.

The family moved to Pomeroy in 1882 where she finished grade school.

The family then moved to Portland, Oregon where she graduated from St. Helen's Hall.

The family then moved back to Pomeroy where she has lived since.

She was married to Robert E. Allen in 1896.

Mrs. Allen was an active member of the Episcopal Church and Guild.

Survivors are a son, Seeley Allen of Lewiston, of Lewiston, Idaho, and a niece, Mrs. Charles McLeary, Pomeroy, with whom Mrs. Allen lived for many years.
