Valeria E. Mrosla, age 88 of Royalton, MN passed away Friday, October 26, 2007 at St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10:30 A.M. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Royalton with the Rev. Laurn Virnig officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday and Monday from 9:30-10:30 A.M. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Royalton. Christian Mothers will pray a Rosary at 4:30 P.M. Sunday afternoon at Holy Trinity Catholic Church followed by Parish Prayers at 7:00 P.M.

Valeria Elizabeth (Namyst) Mrosla was born October 31, 1918 in Holdingford, Stearns County, MN to the late Ignatius & Hedwig (Pilarski) Mrosla. She grew up near Holdingford, MN on the family farm. She attended country school through the eighth grade later receiving her GED at the age of 67 years. Following her schooling, Valeria worked in Minneapolis as a housekeeper and nanny. She was united in marriage to Otto Mrosla on November 24, 1938 at St. Hedwig's Catholic Church in Holdingford, MN. The couple lived in Bowlus, MN for two years and then moved to Royalton, MN where they farmed. Otto died January 19, 1975. Valeria continued to live on the farm until 1980 when she retired. She then moved to the City of Royalton. In November of 2005, she became a resident of St. Otto's Care Center in Little Falls, MN residing there until her death. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, church bazaars and visiting with her family and friends. Valeria was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers.

She is survived by daughters & sons, Doris Tomala & husband, Roger, of Pierz, MN, Thomas Mrosla & wife, Marlene, of Royalton, MN, Michael Mrosla & wife, Mary, of Coon Rapids, MN, Edward Mrosla & wife, Kim, of Royalton, MN, Rosie Brower & husband, Larry, of Royalton, MN, Jane Suska & husband, George, of Royalton, MN, Paul Mrosla & wife, Sheryl, of Royalton, MN; son-in-law, David Maier of Royalton, MN & special friend, Bev Henrichs, of Little Falls, MN; brothers, Fidales "Spike" Namyst & wife, Ann, of Woodbury, MN, Clarence Namyst & wife, Betty, of Holdingford, MN; sisters, Kathryn Namyst of Holdingford, MN, Rose Ann Nentl of Aitkin, MN, Dorraine Czech & husband, Elmer, of Golden Valley, MN; sister-in-law, Bernice Namyst of Eagan, MN; brother-in-law, Walter Korman of St. Cloud, MN; 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto; daughter, Audrey Maier in 1997; parents; brothers, Alois & John Namyst and sisters, Alice Korman & Delores Walters.
