Mrs. Ibbotson was born July 8, 1965, in Iowa City, to David Messenger and Mary Smith. She married Jerome Ibbotson in 1998, in Davenport.
Mrs. Ibbotson graduated from Delmar High School in 1983 and worked for APAC Teleservices in Maquoketa.
Mrs. Ibbotson is survived by her husband, Jerome of Andrew; two sons, Harry K. Waymoth of Andrew and Christopher R. Murray of Andrew; her father David and wife Dawn of Brighton; her mother, Mary Basham and husband Charles of St. Louis, MO; three sisters, DiAnn Brown of Hammond, Ind. Anita Adler of Valparaiso, Ind., and Jolene Erdman of Brighton; one stepbrother, Jim Warner of Mayfield, N.Y.; one stepsister, Darlene Jones of Valparaiso, Ind.; one grandmother; seven aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by twins, David Messenger and DiAnn Messenger; four great grandparents; three grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
