Gladys, my Mom, was a very strong person, to be so tiny. She was very independent, but loved to help people. She loved her children and granchildren very much, and would do anything for them she could. She loved to laugh and tell stories about when she was growing up in Mansfield, LA. She was from a family of 7 children. Her Mother and Dad worked hard all their lives to provide for their family.

She loved gardening and working in her roses, they were her favorite, and she could grow some beautiful ones. Also she worked volunteering at our hospital here as a Gray Lady, and sold Luzier cosmetics for many years, also she loved to do crocheting and read.

She was a Christian and loved to read God's word. She belonged to the Radio Bible Class when she was unable to go to church anymore. She had many close friends that loved her.

I still miss her so much, we would talk on the phone everyday. My children miss her terribly. She was called Mam-Ma. I love and miss you , Mama.
