Drowned in a Well
Mikel Mikelson, of 12 Mile Lake township, about three miles northwest of Wallingford, fell into a well yesterday and was drowned. (Emmet County Reporter, Emmet County Republican, Estherville, IA., May 23, 1895)
Note: Tombstone says he died 22 June 1895 and newspaper notice of death was in the 23 of May 1895 newspaper.
