Leesville - Richard H. Roberts, 73, of Route 5, Cedar Grove Community, died Wednesday at Providence Hospital. Born in Lexington County, he was a son of the late Roddy C. and Girlie Craps Roberts. He was a member of Cedar Grove Lutheran Church where he served on the church council and was a member of the Lutheran Church Men. Mr. Roberts was a retired farmer and a founder and former co-owner of Four Way Farms and Feed Mill. He was a former employee of the Lexington County Soil and Water Conservation Service and a former member of the Farm Bureau, the Lexington Cattlemen's Association and Woodmen of the World. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ruby Caughman Roberts; two daughers, Mrs. Pat (Wilma) Koon and Mrs. Leroy (Narcia) West of Leesville; two sons, Darwin W. "Shot" and Larry Roberts of Leesville, four sisters, Mrs. Grady (Virtilla) Smith, Mrs. Callie (Geneva) Keisler and Mrs. Olin (Lillie Mae) Keisler of Gilbert and Mrs. Glenn (Gertrude) Craps of West Columbia; three brothers, Charlie Roberts of Leesville and Leopard and Enos Roberts of West Columbia; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. today at Cedar Grove Lutheran Church, conducted by Rev. Hilton Roof. © The State, Columbia, SC, 4 Feb 1983
