GLEASON: Services for Rev. James Harold Grissom, 83, were Saturday, September 22 at 2:00 p.m. at Beech Springs Baptist Church with the Revs. Randy Isbell, Bob Copeland and Tony Terrell officiating. Burial was in Hopewell Cemetery.
Rev. Grissom, a retired minister and postal employee, died Wednesday, September 19 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital of heart failure.
He was born November 24, 1917 in Gleason to the late Robert and Henrietta Stallcup Grissom. He was a member of Beech Springs Baptist Church and Gleason Masonic Lodge #330.
Survivors include a son, Robert H. Grissom of Henderson; a daughter, Janice Windle of Midlothian and six grandchildren.
Gallimore Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
