Patricia Ann Alderfer, 49, Rt. 1, Mentone, died today, at Parkview Hospital, Plymouth. She had been ill since Friday.
Born in Peru, Aug. 15, 1929, she died May 7, 1979. Her parents were Paul and Mildred Mooney Mellinger. She was married in Peru Nov. 17, 1956, to Clyde Alderfer, who survives. Mrs. Alderfer was a teacher's aide at Mentone School.
Also surviving are three sons, David, Winona Lake, Dennis and Daniel, both at home; three daughters, Becky, wife of Calvin Davis, Pierceton, Carol and Lisa, both at home; one brother, Robert Mellinger, Whittakre, Mich.; two sisters, Margaret Acree, Saline, Mich., and Frances Trexler, Ypsilanti, Mich., and sic grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at King Memorial Home, Mentone, with the Rev. William Shewman officiating. Burial will be in Mentone Cemetery.
