WAYNE I. FARRINGTON , 70, of Prophetstown, died SUnday in Moline Public Hsp. Funeral services were this afernoon in the Gibson FuneralHome in Erie. Burial in the Erie Cemetery. Mr. Farrington was born on Nov. 3, 1916 in Prophetstown, the son of Irwin and Mary (Bacon) Farrington. On Feb. 6, 1941 he was united in marriage to Nettie Brown in Sparta WI, and she preceded him in 1983. Mr. Farrington retired in 1970 from the former International Harvestor and also farmed in the Erie area. He was a US Army veteran of WW II and a former member of the Rock Falls American Legion. Survivors include two sons, Irwin of Morrison and Carl of Burnside KY; four daughters, MRs. Charles (Lynn) Friedericks of San Jose CA, Mrs. Louis (Carol) Ybarra of Sterling, Frances Eades of Morrison and Gayle Anderson of Prophetstown; one half-brother Glen Mulnix of Muscatine IA and 14 grandchildren.
