Mr. Woodward was a volunteer fireman with Greenridge Fire Co. in Aston and the American Legion in Aston. He was an avid fisherman and boater.
He was the widower of M. Virginia Woodward.
Survivors: Son, Robert C. Woodward of Sharon Hill daughter, Virginia M. Woodward Johnson of Morton sisters, Madeline Stover of Lancaster, Pauline Moore of Crum Lynne, Ridley Township, Louise Sypinski of Glen Mills, Dolores Smith of Texas seven grandchildren three great-grandchildren.
Mass: 9:30 a.m. Thursday, St. Gabriel Church, Mohawk Avenue, Norwood.
Visitation: 7-9 p.m. today and after 8:15 a.m. Thursday, Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike, Norwood.
Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Marple.
