After high school, she moved to the Sun City, AZ, area to be near her mother. Stacy married David Beebe and was in the process of divorce when she was killed in an auto accident near Prescott, AZ. Stacy had no children.

There is a memorial in the Stockton cemetery which Stacy's ashes may be placed in at a later time.
