Elmer Peek Dies Tuscola County
Former Resident Will Be Buried At Sanford Friday Afternoon; Three Sons In County
Elmer J. Peek, 68 years of age, passed away early Wednesday morning, October 31, at the home of his nephew, Mr. Harry Hess, who lives in Tuscola County, near Fairgrove. Mr. Peek had been ill for only one week, from pneumonia.
Elmer Peek was born in Genesee County, March 10, 1860. In 1900 he came to Midland County, settling in Lee and lived there for many years. He was married in Montorse ot Louisa Huggins, who died in January of 1908. Just October 2 of this year he married Mrs. Margaret Brown of Flint, and they had planned to make their home in Watrousville.
Surviving Mr. Peek: his wife, Margaret Brown Peek, three sons, Edward and James of Lee, and Harry of Mt. Haley Township.
The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 from the James Peek home in Lee and at two o'clock in the Sanford M.E. Church. Rev. Charles Peterson will officiate and interment will be made in the Sanford Cemetery.

Elmer Peek Dies Tuscola County
Former Resident Will Be Buried At Sanford Friday Afternoon; Three Sons In County
Elmer J. Peek, 68 years of age, passed away early Wednesday morning, October 31, at the home of his nephew, Mr. Harry Hess, who lives in Tuscola County, near Fairgrove. Mr. Peek had been ill for only one week, from pneumonia.
Elmer Peek was born in Genesee County, March 10, 1860. In 1900 he came to Midland County, settling in Lee and lived there for many years. He was married in Montorse ot Louisa Huggins, who died in January of 1908. Just October 2 of this year he married Mrs. Margaret Brown of Flint, and they had planned to make their home in Watrousville.
Surviving Mr. Peek: his wife, Margaret Brown Peek, three sons, Edward and James of Lee, and Harry of Mt. Haley Township.
The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 from the James Peek home in Lee and at two o'clock in the Sanford M.E. Church. Rev. Charles Peterson will officiate and interment will be made in the Sanford Cemetery.
