Gerald Graham Huffstetler, 77, of Belmont, died Friday, January 25, 2013 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Mecklenburg, son of the late George Graham and Jennie Lee Carpenter Huffstetler. I addition to his parents, Gerald was preceded in death by his wife, Regis Skidmore Huffstetler; son Jeffrey Huffstetler and brothers, Harold and Zane Huffstetler.
Gerald retired from Eastern Airlines and was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was an avid Tar Heel fan and loved tennis. Gerald was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be dearly missed.
A funeral service will be at 1:00 pm in the Bumgardner Chapel of McLean Funeral Directors with Rev. Ken Sausedo officiating. Interment will follow the service at Hillcrest Gardens, Mt. Holly.
