Lawrence Zack Stark, 83, Eldon, died Tuesday at Charles Still Hospital in Jefferson City. Mr. Stark was born March 6, 1889 in Tuscumbia, the son of William and Lucy Burton Stark. He was married July 23, 1913, to the former Katherine Bear, who died in June 3, 1962.
Mr. Stark was a retired mechanic and a member of the Mt. Zion Christian Church, Tuscumbia.
Survivors include: One son, Hal Stark, Chicago, Ill.; four brothers, Emerson Stark, Springfield, Joseph Stark, Hiawatha, Kan., Elmer Stark, Kansas City, and Perry Stark, Pittsburg, Kan.; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Abbott, Iberia and Mrs. Eliza Abbott, Tuscumbia.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Mt. Zion Christian Church, Tuscumbia, with the Rev. Mark Sooter officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
