Jerry Baker was the son of Andrew D. Baker and Margaret Gatton. They moved from Paulding County, Ohio, to Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1909. Jerry's siblings included Charles (Julia Jackson), Daisy, Pearl (John L. Landrum), Otto (Lyda Rey), Leroy, Ralph (Clara Cain), Grace (Hamilton Westmoreland), Gertrude (Roy Tuttle, Earl Winchell), Verna (Raymond Rutherford), William Stevens), Osie (Murl Dunifin), Mary and Harry (Roberta, Ona Love Barnett). Jerry had a career as a railroad conductor in Montana.

Wierengo, route No. 8 Spokane, 3 brotheres, Harry Baker of Compton, Calif.; Otto Baker and Ray Baker, both of Kalamazoo, Mich., 3 sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Amenia, New York, Mrs. Ossie Dunisin, Kalamazoo, Mich.; one sister in Ohio. He was a member of the Masonic lodge of Alberton, Mont.; also a member of the R. of R. T. Funeral Wed. Feb 2. at 2:30 p.m. from the SMITH FUNERAL HOME, W1124 Riverside ave., Oriental lodge No. 74, F. and A. M., officiating. Interment Greenwood.
