Father stated on sister, Gesina Dorothea (Wedemeyer) Fauser's death certificate as John Wedemeyer and Gesche (Greta) Garmes. I'm not sure if father John ever came to the USA. I have no other information on him, other than he was born in Germany. Mother Gesche came to the USA. She was born about 1813 in Germany. She died in San Francisco 26 Feb 1892.
