Miss Alice Helena Ball, 95, of of cedars of Lebanon Nursing Home in Lebanon, died at 6:05 p.m., April 15 at the nursing home. Miss ball was formerly of Springfield. She was a native of Washington County and a daughter of the late Joseph Lud and Georgia (Ballard) Ball. Survivors include: one nephew, Joe Rhodes, of Louisville; two nieces, Mrs. Georgia Mae Newton of Lebanon and Mrs. Catherine Ward, of South Carolina Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m., April 18, at St. Rose Catholic Church with burial at the cemetery. Rev. Christopher Allegra officiated. Pallbearers were Gene Hamilton,Brook Rudd, Walter Shanahan and John Medley. Prayer services were held at 7 pm., April 17, at the funeral home. Mattingly Funeral Home, Loretto, was in charge of arrangements.
