Funeral services for J. M. Anderson, 70, died January 5, 1954 in Houston, Texas hospital was held at Mt. Olive Church at 2:00 p.m. Saturday January 9th with the Rev. Joe Pace and Rev. Wilder officiating.
Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife and one son, Byrum L. Anderson of Houston, Texas; one brother W. R. Anderson, Quitman; two sisters, Mrs. George Pate, Quitman and Mrs. Tom Poole, Springhill.
Interment was at the Mt. Olive cemetery under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Elris Anderson, Elton Anderson, Lloyd Anderson, Oyde Anderson, Lavon Anderson and Hillman Pate.
