Mrs. Edward Dobson, 76, long a Janesville resident, died at 1:30 am Tuesday in her home, 339 Milton Ave., after four years illness.
The former Dora Olson was born in Gratiot Sept. 27, 1876, and was married to Samuel H. Johnson in August 1893. Mr. Johnson died June 23, 1915.
Mrs. Johnson was married to Edward Dobson, Janesville, Nov. 28, 1919. He died Nov. 15, 1947. Mrs. Dobson attended First Lutheran church and was a member of West Wyota Lutheran Church near Gratiot.
Surviving are four daughters, Mmes. Charles Eckert, George Campbell and Florence Olmstead, all of Janesville and Mrs. Elliott Getchell, Rte. 3, Edgerton; a stepson, Elliott Dobson of Florida, a stepdaughter, Mrs. Marie Robson, Elkhorn; two brothers, Peter A. Olson, Gratiot and John A. Olson, Beloit. One brother and one sister preceded her in death.
Services will be at 10 AM Thursday in the Overton Funeral Home, the Rev I. A. Suby, First Lutheran Church, officiating and at 1:30 in West Wiota church. Burial will be in the West Wiota cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home Wednesday evening.
