Of this union were born four children, one dying in infancy. There remains to mourn his loss three sons: Chas. C. age 11 years, Ross Lee 9 years and Eldon age three, his devoted wife and also an aged mother now living at Allans, Tenn.
He with his family came to New Diggings March 1915 where he followed the occupation of a miner until he was forced by that dread disease, tuberculosis to give up work, and he entered the Oaks Sanitarium nearly two years ago to regain his health, but it was of no avail. While in this sanitarium he was truly converted to God and died fully trusted in his Lord and Saviour.
