Bowie, Texas-Marion"Buck"Buckalew, 64, died Monday in a Bowie hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m Wednesday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Teel, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Grovehill Memorial Park in Dallas under direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Bowie.
Buckalew was born Oct. 8, 1917, in Ruck, Texas, and had been a Bowie resident for six years. He was an electrician and veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Burnie, two daughters, Mrs. Jackie Peek of Atlanta, Ga., and Mrs. Ann Grindele of Mesquite, Texas, two brothers, Jeff of Greenwood, Ind., and E.L. of Graham, Texas; five sisters, Mrs. Beth Congell of Houston, Pauline Fisher of Grapevine, Texas, Mrs. Viola Dunn of Vernon, Texas, and Lilla Briscoe of Bowie, and four grandchildren.
