She was born April 13, 1902 in Hamburg, IN the daughter of Bernard and Agnes (Haskamp) Leising Jr. She married AJ Meyer on August 30, 1922 and he preceded her in death January 9, 1971. She was a homemaker and member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Sodality and the Richland and Noble Township Home Ec Organizations.
Survivors include four sons, Robert (wife Margie) Meyer, Donald (wife Judy) Meyer, James (wife Claudia) Meyer & Edward (wife Connie) Meyer; daughter Lucille Hahn; Son-In-Law Marvin Hoeing, all of Rushville. 21 Grandchildren and 48 great grandchildren also survive.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter Mildred Hoeing, Son-In-Law Marlin Hahn, great grand daughter Ali Meyer, four brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Friday January 14, 2005 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. William Turner officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Rushville.
Friends may call Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Todd Funeral Home in Rushville with the Rosary recited at 7:30 PM.
