HUMBERTO ALFEREZ
Obituary

ALFEREZ Humberto Ignacio Alferez - Dad was always smiling. If you weren't, he'd do something about it, maybe tell you a really bad joke, so unfunny you couldn't help but laugh doubly hard! If you were at his dinner table, he made sure you didn't have to get up for anything and that you tried his chili. Nacho never met a couch he couldn't sleep on and he also never met a stranger, extended his hand in friendship to all who crossed his path. Always ready to help; he really would give you the shirt off his back. He had four children, and he raised many others. His legacy is boys that learned to be men through his example. He taught us many things, how to build with wood and stone, to seize opportunities, to be generous, to be reliable and steady, but most importantly he showed us how to enjoy life. He enjoyed the ride and wanted the rest of us to do the same. Born October 31, 1948, in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. Married to Martha for 33 years, who he now joins in the afterlife. Survived by sons: Lupe, Ken; daughters Brenda, Rachel; grandchildren Alejandra, Xavier, Kristian; and countless other family & friends. Dad: Give Mom a kiss for us. We'll see you again soon. Until then, watch over us. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2012 from 3-9 pm with a Vigil Service at 7pm at Crestview Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am on Monday, July 30, 2012 at San Juan Diego Catholic Church with Interment to follow at Evergreen East Cemetery. Services under the direction of CRESTVIEW FUNERAL HOME.1462 N. Zaragosa 856-1400
