Burl J. Goodall, 68, 1525 E. Butler St., died at 10:40 a.m. Monday at Ball Hospital after a short illness. He was a member and former trustee of the Shaffer Chapel AME Church, a veteran of World War 1, and a retired employe of the Muncie Malleable Foundry. Survivors include the wife, Glenna, a stepson, Arthur Harris, a brother, Alexander Goodall and two nieces and nephews, all of Muncie. The body was taken to the Faulkner Mortuary where funeral arrangements are being completed.

Funeral services for Burl J. Goodall, 68, 1525 E. Butler St., who died Monday, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Shaffer Chapel AME Church, with the Rev. A. J. Oliver officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Among Mr. Goodall's survivors are three nieces and two nephews. Friends may call at the Faulkner Mortuary Chapel of Chimes after 4 p.m. Wednesday. The casket will remain closed at the church.
