Mary L. Bobbitt, age 75, of Gulfport, died Friday, January 7, 2005, in Gulfport.

Mrs. Bobbitt was a native of Laconia, TN, worked as a seamstress and was of the Methodist faith. She was an avid reader, enjoyed spending time outside with flowers and watching television. She was well loved by her family and friends and will be greatly remembered.

Mrs. Bobbitt was preceded in death by her husband, Allie Bobbitt; parents, Elbert and Grace Crafton; two sisters, Louise Stafford and Ann Miller; and one brother, Jerry Crafton. She is survived by two sons, George Bobbitt and Allie Bobbitt, Jr., both of Morgan City, LA; two daughters Cindy Dennie of Memphis, TN, and Deborah Dean of Nevada City, CA; three sisters, Marie Morrison of Mason, TN, Nell Oliver of Chattanooga, TN, and Ruth Webb of Selmer, TN; 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held today, Monday, January 10, 2005, at 3:00 pm at Riemann Memorial Funeral Home, Hwy 49N, in Orange Grove. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Mausoleum and Cemetery in Gulfport. Riemann Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
