TIMMONSVILLE - Walter T. Coker, 69, died early this morning at a Florence hospital, where he was taken Friday night. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock from the Coker residence. Interment at Byrd Cemetery.
Mr. Coker was popular throughout this section where he was an extensive farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sara Ellerbe Coker; four daughters, Mrs. I. M. Richardson of Sumter, Mrs. Marion Coker Moorman of Columbia, Mrs. J. A. Allis of Stillwater, Okla. and Mrs. M. J. Spears of Lamar; one son, W. T. Coker Jr. of Columbia; and two sisters, Mrs. Leonce Vaughan of Hartsville and Miss Janie Coker of Greenville.
