VAN WIEREN - Mary Helen Van Wieren, age 90, who loved the Lord Jesus, joined the heavenly choir on Monday, June 28, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis; her daughter, Carole Nelson; parents, Harold MacDonald and Helen Williams; stepfather, George Williams; brother, J. Willard "Bill" MacDonald; infant brother, Harold MacDonald. She is survived by her children, Dr. Jack (Irene) Van Wieren of CO, Dr. Gerald (Suzanne) Van Wieren of Grant, Roderick (Holly) Van Wieren of CO, Marilou (Timothy) Peerbolt of Hudsonville, Mark David Van Wieren of CO; son-in-law, Roger Nelson; 26 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Clara Stoel of Holland, Eleanor Van Wieren of Holland, Carrie Van Wieren of AR, Mary Jo Larson of CA; brothers-in-law, Don Van Wieren of CA, Robert Boes of Hudsonville, Alan Van Wieren of NC; many beloved nieces and nephews. A private graveside service was held at Grandville Cemetery. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Georgetown Christian Fellowship, 3668 Port Sheldon St., Hudsonville with Pastor Calvin Bergsma officiating.
