Obituary
Opelousas- Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 25, 2013, at the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas, LA, for Yvonne Marie Aymond Bazar. Interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park. Rev. Perry Hubbs will officiate the services.
Yvonne was born in Port Barre and long-time resident of Opelousas. She passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at her home at the age of 73.
Yvonne was a Hostess at Sibille Funeral Home for many years until her retirement, she was active in T.R.I.A.D functions, in her spare time she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, she made people laugh, she was a very jolly person, Yvonne was a Cancer Survivor for many years, she was a past member of Christian Life Center, she was a special mom and caregiver, she will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her sons, Randy Buckley and wife, Debbie of Port Barre, Allen Ray Bazar and wife, Christa of Youngville, Gary Bazar and wife, Elizabeth of Opelousas, Michael Bazar and wife, Heidi of Opelousas, one daughter, Sandra Bazar Castille and husband, Sanders of Opelousas, brothers, Albert ("Black"/"A.J.") Aymond, Jr. wife, Betty of Washington, Rodney Aymond of Opelousas, sister, Donna Aymond Faul of Opelousas, half sisters , Myrna Doucet Diesi and husband, Charles of Opelousas, Louise Aymond Lanclos of Opelousas, Twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen J. Bazar, her parents, Albert Sr., and Lena Laborde, brother, Joey Doucet.
Pallbearers will be her sons, Randy, Allen, Gary, Michael, her grand son Nicholas, and her son in law Sanders.
Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Funeral arrangements were by Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas.
