Darlington, South Carolina - Leroy C. Allen, 84, of Darlington died on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at his home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 2 PM in the Chapel of Kistler Hardee Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Darlington Memory Gardens.
Surviving are his children, Leroy "Roy" Chalmers Allen, Jr.; Stanley Franklin Allen; and Johnny Ray Allen, Jr. all of Darlington; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
Roy was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Freeman Allen and by his daughter, Rose Marie Hudson.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Kistler Hardee Funeral Home and other times at the home, 2428 Iseman Road, Darlington.
