Annie was the daughter of Samuel Adley Shull and wife Mary Ellen Jones Shull of Lewis County, Tennessee. Annie married Abe Looney Tune on January 2, 1881, in Maury County, Tennessee.

They were the parents of thirteen children: Florence, Rex, Charley Brice, Myrtle, Gertrude, Eugenia, Clifford Long, Lucy Anna, Lylian, Edna M., Mabel and Lorene Tune.

Annie and family, along with her mother-in-law & Looney's siblings came to Ellis County, Texas circa 1882.
