Services For Boron Man
Funeral services for Lowell HoIsted, 70, were held on Monday, August 29, at the Stickel Mortuaries Chapel in Mojave.
Mr. HoIsted was born October 20, 1906, in Chisolmville, Ark., and passed away at the Boron Citizens Hospital on August 25. He.had lived in California for 25 years.
He was a former 20 year resident of Arvin before moving to Boron about 7 months ago. He was last employed at the Calzona Box and Lumber Co. in Lamont.
He is survived by two daughters, Christene Stewart, Garden Grove, and Jean Still, Catoosa, Okla.;two brothers, Odus of Bakersfield, and Leroy of Paris, Ark., ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The Rev.Olin G. Collier, First Baptist Church, Mojave, officiated at the 2:00 p.m. service. Interment was in East Kern Cemetery, Mojave. Stickel Mortuaries were in charge of arrangements.
