Mildred TUCKER DAY
Mildred TUCKER DAY, 76, of Fair Haven, Mich., formerly of Fairfield, died Wednesday, March 19, 2003, in Michigan.
The funeral was held at noon today at Starville Community Church in Starville, Mich., with her son, the Rev. Robert A. TUCKER, officiating.
Graveside services will begin with a visitation and viewing at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield. The funeral and committal service will begin at 11 a.m. Monday. Local arrangements are being made by Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.
Mrs. DAY was born Sept. 12, 1926, in Fairfield, the daughter of Calvin and (sic. first name Dorothy) Esther HOWELL COURTNEY. She married Robert M. TUCKER. He died in 1968. She later married Everett DAY.
Survivors include her husband, Everett DAY of Keosauqua; seven children, the Rev. Robert A. TUCKER and his wife Angeline of Fair Haven, Dennis L. TUCKER and his wife Patricia of Fairfield, Randy D. TUCKER and his wife Wanda of Fairfield, Deborah C. HOLLANDER and her husband Ronald of Burlington, Timothy J. TUCKER and his wife Trudy of Fairfield, Terri J. TALBOT and her husband James of Fair Haven, and Carolyn J. HEAD of Richmond, Mich.; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Lee COURTNEY of Salina.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert A. TUCKER (sic); her sister, Doris HUNT; and two grandchildren.
