Jimmy Joe Hawkins, 75, of Omaha, died Saturday, January 19, 2013, in Omaha.

Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home in Fort Calhoun. Visitation is one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Jimmy Joe Hawkins was born August 12, 1937, in Omaha to Otis Elmer and Almeda Catherine (Dorn) Hawkins.

On Oct. 4, 1968, he married Barbara Davis.

He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Kit and Dick Corwine of Omaha; and a brother and sister-in-law, Chuck and Bobette Hawkins of Fort Calhoun.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; step-son, Mike Knapp; and sisters, Donna Smith and Shirley Lantz.

Memorials can be directed to Fort Calhoun Fire and Rescue.
