Funeral services for Leonard Anderson, 80, of Baxter, will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 23, at Crest Lawn Funeral Home-Cremation Center. Burial will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today, Tuesday, Jan. 22, and from 10 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Anderson passed away on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, in Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

He was born Sept. 3, 1932, in Buffalo Valley to the late Eura (Carr) and Solon D. Anderson.

Mr. Anderson served in the army as a Corporal.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Emogene (Bryant) Anderson; three brothers, Leo (Kebe) Anderson and wife Opal (Tucker), Oneal Anderson and wife Leona and Dwight Anderson; a sister, Francis (Anderson) Stephens; a brother-in-law, Ottis Norris Stephens; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Layton and Maudie (Boyd) Bryant.

Darrick Copeland will officiate at the services.
